Subject: Fall OASIS Adoption Forum in London

I'm forwarding this message from Jane Harnad to the TC - we'd really love to see a DITA presentation on the schedule!

To all Interested DITA TC Members:
OASIS has confirmed the date and location of our fall event - The OASIS Adoption Forum. The event will take place on the 17 of
October in London and will feature a one-day program exclusively devoted to the adoption of OASIS Standards and specifications.
(Note: The OASIS Adoption Forum will be co-located with another event - the eWorld Government and Healthcare Conference -
http://www.eworld-government.com/.)
The program will be made up of six presentations, each on a key OASIS specification of particular interest to the European
community. We would like to invite a presentation on DITA, from a DITA TC member (preferably someone from Europe) to be a part of
the program. The 45-minute presentation should provide an update and overview of the status of your committee work, but it may also
include information on implementations or case studies. Designated speakers will be responsible for their own travel, but will
receive complimentary registration to the OASIS Adoption Forum, including lunch and reception.
The deadline is this week for a final commitment. If anyone is at all interested, plesae contact Jane Harnad
