OASIS Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) TC

Because a number of Members and usual attendees were not able to attend
today's call, I would like to remind everyone to review the current list of
DITA 1.2 Requirements (at
http://wiki.oasis-open.org/dita/DITA_Specification_1%2e2_Requirements).  If
you are aware of anything that has not been listed yet (any new issues from
your users/architects, or any old ones we've lost track of), please mention
it in response to this note so that we can add it to the document.  I'd
like to ask that you provide this information by end of day Thursday if at
all possible. Robert or Gershon will add new items to the end of the
requirements document as they are able.

At that time, if other action items for the list have been completed as
well, I will ask Member/Voting Member representatives to see if they can
provide their rankings in advance of next Tuesday's meeting.

Hi, TC members. No new requirements have come in this week. Robert has
updated a few items identified at the last TC meeting. We weren't able to
mine the previous email for possibly-overlooked issues, but I expect that
the exercise could have come up empty anyway, given that we've had the 1.2
list before us for nearly two years. It's time to move on.

Please wrap up your assessment reviews with your teams, and as requested
before, respond to my March 9 note
(http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/dita/200703/msg00017.html) with your
5 highest and any number of should-be-easy candidate items. Let's see if we
can start on rankings this coming Tuesday.

Good. I infer from this that I don't have to mine the 2006 emails :) 
I'll add the status column before Tuesday's TC meeting so we'll have a 
work-ready table for the next meeting. I assume anyone who logged 
requests in 2006 will shout sooner or later. I'll try to mine the 
previous minutes I wrote to check that we didn't miss anything in the TC 
meeting discussions.

Don et al.,

I apologize for this, but I am just about to send in several
new suggestions for DITA 1.2.  I took a little longer to get 
the input from others in Arbortext than one might have hoped,
but I think most of the suggestions are relatively simple, and
we have tried to outline a fairly clear solution in each case.

I will be sending each suggestion in a separate email shortly.
