    Subject: DTDArchVersion value?

The DTDArchVersion attribute will presumeably take a value of "1.0.0". I just want to confirm with all that we are looking at a version.release.modification structure since this value will need to be updated if we send out bug updates. Will processing tools have any real dependency on the value in this attribute? This is the time to back off to a two part "1.0" if we want to make the value more general.

It is my understanding that this value will increment at the version or release digit only on major and intermediate updates of the architecture. Is there an expectation to use the mod attribute as an indicator of changes within individual DTDs in between releases? If so, that is an indication that we should use the full 3-part value.

    Regards,
