Hi Rex -

Thanks for the additional insight. Appreciated.

The OGC also has a very formal relationship with ISO. We work closely with
ISO TC 211 (Things spatial) as well as the ISO Secretariat and INCITS. Our
relationship has progressed to the point where we know have joint editing
committees. Also, number of OGC specs are now ISO standards. We also work
closely with W3C. We meet periodically with Tim and his staff to make sure
that both organizations remained aligned and synergistic. And then I work
closely with the IETF GeoPriv working group. As you might guess, we are
sensitive to the how other standards organizations work and what their
respective missions are. This is good because it insures that we are not
working at cross purposes and can better leverage each others work.
