Greetings EM-TC Members,

The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the EIC and DHS has been signed 
and a press release has been put out announcing the event.  A copy of the 
press release is attached.  The MOA was signed by Steve Cooper and Barry 
West of DHS and Matt Walton, Chair of the EIC.  The announcement was made 
today during the EIC meeting.  CAP, OASIS and our TC are mentioned in the 
press release.  Gordon Fullerton of the DHS Disaster Management Program was 
very complimentary of the efforts of our TC during the meeting.

Thanks to you all for the efforts completed with CAP 1.0 and for the work 
underway to get CAP 1.1 and the EDXL notions through the standards 
process.  Our updated charter was approved on the last TC call and has been 
forwarded to OASIS for posting.  We have an aggressive and exciting 
schedule for 2005.

This information has been passed along to the OASIS board as well.
