capau.custodian@ag.gov.au> UNCLASSIFIED On 24 May 2012, the Australian Government standard for the Common Alerting Protocol Australia Profile (CAP-AU-STD) was ENDORSED by the Australian Government Cross Jurisdictional Chief Information Officers Committee (CJCIOC). This milestone is the pre-requisite we required to progress to public release of the CAP-AU-STD. We will be seeking to activate the following web URL on 6 June 2012 (by 1200 AEST) to trigger the release of the CAP-AU-STD 4-part document suite, XML Schema Document (XSD) and Request For Change (RFQ) proforma to the public:
https://govshare.gov.au/xmlui/handle/10772/6380 The version to be released to the public will be known as CAP-AU-STD, VERSION 2.0, dated 30 May 2012. The OASIS document known as the Australian CAP Profile (EDXL-CAP1.2-AU-v1.0-CS01), that was publicly released by OASIS on 26 April 2012, will become known as “Attachment A to the CAP-AU-STD”.
