MINUTES OF UBL-TRANSPORT SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING

1000 - 1200 (Singapore time) Thursday 15 December 2005

ATTENDANCE IN SINGAPORE:

Kama (UBL-TSC Chairperson, CrimsonLogic)

Tim McGrath (UBL Vice Chair)

Ng Chi Yuen (CECID)

Jern-Kuan, Leong (CrimsonLogic)

Andrew Schoka (Information Systems Engineer (US))


ISSUES DISCUSSED:


 1. There was a discussion on whether StatusCode is needed in Waybill, etc.
    And it is finally removed from the documents.
 2. VersionCode under CertificateOfOriginApplication is changed to StatusCode.
 3. The DigitalSignatureAttachment ASBIE in CertificateOfOrigin is modified
    in structure in the Common spreadsheet.
 4. DeliveryUnit is newly introduced under Package.
 5. Schedule:

-          Week of 19th December:  Package of class diagram, process model

-          Week of 26th December: Sanity check and review by TC

-          Week of 2nd Jan: finalization and approval

-          Week of 9th Jan: Submission to OASIS

 6. The three process in the transport model are

-          Initiate Transport Services process

-          Certification of Origin of Goods process

-          Freight Billing Process



ACTION ITEMS:

 1. Kama to update EFM document matrix.
 2. All the changes in Excel files should be synchronized in the .EAP file
 3. Review of transport process document updated by CY; .JPG files for the
    activity diagrams are submitted separately to TC.
 4. Review of the US Department of Transport (USDOT) Electronic Freight
    Manifest (EFM). USDOT was previously sent to UBL TSC the EFM document
    matrix listing the types of documents to be used.
