Fellow Code List Representation TC members,
Some CLRTC members may not be aware that the
Universal Business Language TC is already using
genericode 0.4 in the representation of code lists.
Draft 1 of version 0.7 of the UBL Code List Value
Validation Methodology can be found here:
http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=20313
It was with this version of the methodology and
associated files that I prepared the
defaultCodeList.xsl component in the val/
subdirectory of UBL Public Review Draft 3.
This component is used in the second phase of a
two-phase validation approach to the validation
of UBL XML instances, where the first phase is
structural validation using XSD and the second
phase is coded value validation using ISO/IEC
19757-3 Schematron as implemented in XSLT.
This approach is documented at:
http://docs.oasis-open.org/ubl/prd3-UBL-2.0/UBL-index-2.0.html#CODELISTS
I look forward to any comments or questions
anyone may have regarding the approaches we are
taking in the UBL project for code lists.
Thanks!
