I am now the Identity Commons alternate steward for OSIS, Bob Morgan
    is the steward.

The Information Card Foundation and openID foundation are both
members. I imagine that ID-Trust's membership would be more like
    those.

We have a close relationship with OSIS, and that should become
stronger as we involve the SSTC more in OSIS testing.
(Bob and I are both members)

It is something we should consider. I suspect joining is more of a
    political statement than anything.

Bret will probably have some opinion that we should join Kantara as
    well.

I agree with John that this looks like the relationships have a lot of
value, although they do require some overhead maintenance and
interaction. It's useful to reinforce the fact that the IDtrust MS has
been reaching out consistently for years to other major organizations
and initiatives and doing much to bridge these communities. For the
same reason, I agree with John that we should also look closely at
    Kantara.

Currently the whole question of discovering trust federations is a hot
topic. Partially driven by the GSA not wanting to perpetuate white-
lists as the number of government RPs expands into the thousands.

We have been discussing some of the options on the Concordia list.

I have suggested that we consider moving it to someplace with an IPR
    policy.

Brett wants to spin up a Kantara WG for it. I made it clear that the
eventual spec work should go to OASIS.

There are a bunch of issues around federations especially at LoA 3.
Judy Spencer's people also need to be involved if something useful is
to be created for openID infocard and SAML.

Most of the people interested in the topic are active OASIS members
    from SSTC and IMI.

That might be a place to start engaging Brett and Kantara.
