We have up to 1.5K to sponsor IIW - you might consider spending the money to send Anil to introduce CloudAuthZ, this would be a good crowd for that TC? Please discuss today on the StC call. I am on vacation, so Jane will run the meeting today! Thanks all! dee Dee Schur Senior Manager - Standards Advocate OASIS: Advancing open standards for the information society

dee.schur@oasis-open.org Subject: IIW XV Update: Sponsorships, Demo Hour, and Hawaiian Shirts Hi Everyone, IIW XV is fast approaching. Here's a few things we'd like you to know. Sponsorships ------------ We're grateful to the following companies who have already pledged their support: Microsoft Conference Dinner Google Lunch, Documentation Center Janrain Lunch Gigya Conference Reception OneID Morning Break Cisco Afternoon Break Yubico Morning Break Personal Afternoon Break Meadhbh Open Space Gifting IIW is still in need of support and sponsorships. As you know, IIW is a special conference because of the kinds of discussions that happen there. Discussions that need the support of food and drink. That's why sponsors of IIW are so important. We deliberately try and keep the cost of registration low to encourage participation from independents. Sponsors make that possible. We're looking for sponsors for the following events: * Barista ($3500 for all three days) * Lunch on Oct 25 ($3000) * Tuesday reception (pre-dinner), Oct 23, $1750 * Tuesday Dinner, Oct 23, $5000 * Morning & Afternoon Breaks, Oct 25 ($1200 each) * Documentation Center ($1000 each day) * Open space gifting ($400 per day) You'll get recognition on the workshop Web site, on a banner that is up all three days, via signs at the workshop during the event you sponsor, and our heartfelt thanks. We'd also be happy, of course, to comp a workshop registration for break sponsors, two for lunch and dinner sponsors. Most important, you'd have the thanks of the community for supporting what has become the key event for promoting Internet identity technologies, concepts, and ideals. Demo Hour --------- We'll be holding Demo Hour on Day 2 after lunch. If you'd like to be on the list contact Heidi (
Heidi@heidinobantu.com) to get on the list if you haven't already. Bring your Hawaiian Shirts! --------------------------- In memory of RL Bob Morgan we are having Hawaiian Shirt Day Wednesday.
