Once the content is accurate, we can have a graphic designer enhance it (perhaps in a whiteboard style). We can feature the diagram prominently on the CSI homepage and incorporate live links to each of the standards pages. The diagram can be expanded over time to reflect new standards. 3. Include a repository of relevant OASIS presentations, e.g. the attached pdf from Jamie on "Cloud Computing, Contracts, and the Law". 4. Adapt and incorporate the following text into the CSI About page: WHAT DOES CSI DO? Provides a reputable, vendor-neutral workspace, with strong curation and incubation capabilities, for the tough compromises among vendors, and between vendors and buyers, that are needed to create real, functional open standards for Cloud Help drive the conversations that result in actual project launches. Work to ensure problems already solved by existing open standards aren't re-invented. Avoid triumphal vaporware announcements; instead, build reliable projects at a sustainable place. Act as a launching pad, to bring projects up to a level where government and de jure global approvals are in reach. If you approve of #1, I can get started right away on having a logo designed and creating the core web pages. All the other items--plus the standard and use cases templates--can be discussed and advanced separately.
