    Dear Tony,

For once, I am not bugging you about XACML!

On behalf of the OASIS Identity and Trusted Infrastructure (IDtrust)
Member Section Steering Committee, http://www.oasis-idtrust.org/, I am
pleased to invite you to speak on the topics of Higgins and/or other
use-case/deployment challenges or initiatives related to 'Emerging
Approaches for ID Management and Global Collaboration,' at the 'OASIS
IDtrust Workshop' which will occur on Monday, 22 October 2007 at the Burton
    Catalyst Conference in Barcelona, Spain,
    http://catalyst.burtongroup.com/EU07/index.html. I have included a long and
short description of the Workshop below my signatory and the one-day
programme will soon be posted to the OASIS and Burton websites. We would be
honored if you would make a presentation. We have buy-in from EEMA and ITU-T
IdM, so we are truly excited about this opportunity. The presentation will
be between 30-45 minutes and the speakers will receive a free pass to the
entire Burton conference. This is an effort to bring various, vendor-neutral
organization together to truly identity 'critical' problems faced by user
    communities in a cooperative spirit.

Please confirm your availability by 30 August 2007, so we can officially
announce and promote your participation. Again, thank you for your kind
consideration and we deeply look forward to your presentation.

    Best regards,

'OASIS Identity and Trusted Infrastructure Workshop - Evolutionary
    Milestones'

The demand for trusted computing infrastructure continues to grow even
as the internet becomes increasingly hostile. The advent of Service
Oriented Architecture (SOA) and the emergence of converged services
place new emphasis on securing cyberspace.

Supply chain systems, global collaboration, government information
Sharing systems, and outsourced business services are a few examples of
critical functions that require a strong identity management foundation
coupled with robust and scalable data-protection and data-integrity
    services.

This special workshop, organized by the OASIS Identity and Trusted
Infrastructure (IDtrust) Member Section, is supported by international
experts who will discuss three areas of importance: "International
Mandates and New Identity Management Challenges", "Emerging approaches
to ID Management and Global Collaboration," and "ID Management and
Trust Case Studies: Successes and Obstacles."

Join this special OASIS IDtrust Workshop as it explores these most critical
    issues.
