OASIS IDtrust Steering Committee

IDtrust StC members: OASIS and the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange ( WEDI ) are exploring the possibility of collaborating on standards and/or profiles related to the use of cloud technology and U.S. HIPAA/HITECH Privacy and Security requirements. (See details on WEDI below.) As a first step, we'd like to convene an informal call open to interested members of OASIS and WEDI . The call would be an opportunity for: WEDI to provide an overview of their white paper, "Using PHI & Cloud Computing: A Focus on the Intersection of Cloud Technology and Privacy/Security" (attached); ? Representatives from relevant OASIS TCs to provide updates on their work in relation to the topic ?; ? WEDI and OASIS members to discuss possible areas of collaboration and next steps Of course, this is all very much in the preliminary stage, but we think there might be potential to expand the IDtrust agenda. Would the IDtrust StC want to be involved in organizing the call? Chet will moderate, but it would be good to have a StC member on point to keep the discussion moving and encourage a productive outcome. Thanks, Carol ... D ?etails on WEDI : ?
