    Hi Dee,

The chair of the EM-Infrastructure SC was on
vacation out of the country, and that has made it
difficult to proceed. We meet Tuesday, and should
be able to report out our findings soon. How soon
    depends on the meeting.

    Cheers,
    Rex

    Dee,

I think that Jeff did an excellent job summarizing the DE with enough technical detail to get a serious early adopter started down the path.  Subject to immediate feedback  from the IF, Adoption and EI committees, the piece should be published on the EI-MS site as quickly as possible.

Dear EM Infrastructure Framework SC members,

Please see the attached white paper produced by Jeff Waters and reviewed by
the EI MS Steering Committee. The Steering Committee is seeking your opinion
on this paper and suggested edits. The hope is to use this paper as a
'primer' of sorts; to potentially be one in a suite of educational
    documents.

We are also seeking your opinions regarding other types of resources that
should be made available in this potential 'suite.' For example, the
Steering Committee suggested documentation that addresses use-cases, a white
paper geared towards policy for regulatory agencies, another which is more
    technical for implementing engineers, etc.

Please suggest the types of documents you would like to see developed in the
    series.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

    Best regards,
    Dee
