Dear Chet,
Thank you for your email.
I vaguely recall that this was how the TC approached SoUs for 2.0. Please do me a favor and take the word "official" of the description on the front page. Surveymonkey is not a designated facility from OASIS so nothing done on it can be
said to be official or have such standing. I have no objections to its being used to collect information that will be transferred over to the TC's document repository or email list. But please take off the label "official."
Ok, done. That was the same procedure used during the process of obtaining SoUs for 2.0. At that time, you had kindly helped us with
the survey wording:
http://markmail.org/message/kwjtrronjtypzuet?q=sou+xliff+list:org%2Eoasis-open%2Elists%2Exliff The word official was there at the time, but I have deleted now in the new edition as requested.
Also, as I recall, the info from the survey was put into a PDF document or similar and loaded to the TC's document repository. Yes? The TC Process has some requirements for the Statement of Use including that if it is from a non-member
then it must be sent to the TC's xliff-comment@ mailing list and that if the SoU comes from an OASIS Organizational Member, it must be endorsed by the Primary Rep. That is usually done, if the Primary is not also a TC member, by having a TC member forward
the Primary's endorsement to the list.
Yes, that was the procedure that was followed on the last approval process. From Surveymonkey, I obtained a pdf with the answers from
each respondent and asked them to send it the corresponding mailing list so they can declare their SoUs as it is required.
If you go to the second page of the survey, you could see that we gather the information of the status of the respondent, so we know
exactly how to proceed in each case.
Please let us know if we need to fulfil any other requirement or if you prefer us to proceed differently.
Thank you,
Lucia

Thanks - just wanted to make sure we're on the same page before you start collecting the information.

Dear all,
Here is the link to the new questionnaire (draft) to collect the SOU of the new version.
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/souxliff21 I have modified the one we used for 2.0 to adapt it to the new spec.
On the first page, there are two elements in red that need to be updated.
For the ITS module, I could not think of an effective and simple way of adding additional questions to gather more information than the general support of the module, if you can
think of any method to do it (without overcomplicating the questionnaire) please let me know.
Let me know if you have any suggestion/remark on the questionnaire itself.
Best,
Lucía
