    What if I change:
    Tool providers will not be able to create extensions which lead to different flavours of XLIFF.
    To
    Tool providers will be encouraged to provide greater interoperability by not creating their own extensions.

    Hi Peter, We decided to avoid custom extensions to improve interoperability. We may end allowing custom extensions but we can't say yet that we will discourage vendors to use them if they are allowed. Regards, Rodolfo -- Rodolfo M.     Maybe just say that 2.0 includes addressing the interoperability issues introduced by custom extensions. I guess my overall point is that the report should probably avoid being very specific on what 2.0 *will be*, because while we know most of the goals, we don't know yet for sure how they'll be achieved.
