Comments on WD 1.   Additional artifacts should say “none” The core has a scheme, but the errata does not.   Related work should identify the document (in this case the core spec) which this document is an errata to. Both the title and official OASIS link should be given.   Declared XML namespaces should say “none”. Same logic as for Additional artifacts.   1.2 Normative references should be a correctly formatted reference to the core spec.   1.3 Non-Normative References should say “none”.   2.1 New proposed definition:   Target   An element of an  XACML rule , policy , or policy set  which matches specified values of resource , subject , environment , action , or other custom attributes against those provided in the request context as a part of the process of determining whether the rule , policy , or policy set is applicable to the current decision.     2.2 Namespace Context for XPath Expressions   I think we need to actually add the normative reference [INFOSET} to the core (via this errata). And remove some of the text from the two proposed “Add” sections.   Can somebody help with this?     3 Conformance should say “this document does not add any additional conformance requirements.   Need an Acknowledgements section.   Do we still need changes for Multiple Category Element?   Hal   From: Richard Hill [mailto:Richard.C.Hill@boeing.com] Sent: Wednesday, November 02, 2016 8:11 PM To: xacml@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: [xacml] Groups - xacml-3.0-core-spec-errata01-wd01.doc uploaded   Submitter's message Posted the initial draft of the XACML v3 errata. Hi Richard, Section 2.2 Namespace Context for XPath Expressions The first block of text to add should read: When the value is encoded in an <AttributeValue> element, the namespace context is given by the [in-scope namespaces](see [INFOSET]) of the <AttributeValue> element, and an XML attribute called XPathCategory gives the category of the <Content> element where the expression applies. In both blocks of text to be added, [INFOSET] is a reference so it should be bold text, but [in-scope-namespaces] is INFOSET terminology so don't make it bold. In addition, a new section is required to add the INFOSET reference to the normative references of the core spec. 2.X Reference to INFOSET Change to section 1.4 Normative References, page 12 Add [INFOSET] XML Information Set (Second Edition), W3C Recommendation 4 February 2004, available at https://www.w3.org/TR/xml-infoset/ I would suggest putting 2.X before the current 2.2 to be the new 2.2 and renumbering the sections that follow.
