Dear Hal, Bill, and Anne:
I'm happy to bring you a great opportunity to promote your TCs work.
IEEE ECOWS' annual Europe event will feature a one-day program
exclusively devoted to OASIS Standards and specifications. The OASIS
Open Standards Day at ECOWS 2005 (http://wscc.info/ecows2005/) will be
held on 16 November at the Konserthus in Vaxjo.
The program will be made up of several presentations, each on a key
OASIS specification of particular interest to the European community. We
would like to invite a presentation on the OASIS eXtensible Access
Control Markup Language (XACML). This presentation should provide an
update and overview of the status of your committee work, but it may
also include information on implementations or case studies. Designated
speakers will be responsible for their own travel, but will receive
complimentary registration for the day.
Please discuss this opportunity with other members of your TC, and let
the conference organizers know if someone is interested in presenting at
the ECOWS event. They are anxious to start promoting your participation
as soon as possible, so please respond by 26 October 2005.
