Title: Riveting weekend reading Colleagues - Here is a first attempt at the glossary. I have scoured the most relevant submissions for terms, and consulted the standard glossaries. In most cases, I have not used definitions from the standard glossaries, because we need a self-consistent set of terms that closely match the requirements of our domain. Writing our own is the only answer. If we don't appear to need a term, then I have not included it. I have included columns of close synonyms, either approved or deprecated. Once we are all familiar with the terms and using them consistently, I will delete these columns. I have also indicated where I think we need to request changes to the SAML glossary. I suggest that we have a week of email discussion and then a telecon. If everyone is agreeable, I will arrange a telecon for late next week. Perhaps, following the telecon, I'll ask Michiharu to post the resulting glossary on the XACML site. All the best.
