Hi James,


I mean the former, not the latter (i.e., generate schema-valid XACML policies that can be consumed/processed by other PDPs).  It is entirely permissible for XACML to be regarded simply as a policy interchange format, with each implementation translating the XACML policy to its own local/native/proprietary/whatever policy language sometime prior to evaluation.

By "policy creation component" do you mean the ability to generate and export XACML policy for export for use by other applications? Or does the compliant application have to support�an XACML natively and have an XACML editor?��
