    Prompted by some confusion out there, which you may have read about, I've put together a guide to "How to Validate an ODF document".  The draft is up on our wiki here:

    http://wiki.oasis-open.org/office/How_to_Validate_an_ODF_document

    Please contribute any additions or corrections to improve this.  In particular, it would be good to have a list of common errors and workarounds for validation engines other than jing.

    The idea is this:  if we post the error message and the workaround on our wiki, then a developer running into this problem and querying Google, will be likely to find a solution to their problem here.

    Regards,

    -Rob

    I don't have a login for that wiki, but these links may be useful;

    Doh!   If I had known that you KDE already had that page, I could have saved myself some work.  O well, thanks for that link.  I think there is additional information there I can use to supplement the TC's wiki page with.

    As for login, I just use my normal OASIS login.  All TC members should have login.

    Mary is that right?  Or was there a separate sign-up procedure for Wiki access, and I just happened to chose the same user id/password as my OASIS login?

    Thanks!

    -Rob

    Hi all,

      Rob is right – use your OASIS login/password to gain write access to the TC wiki.

    Mary
