Hi Patrick Sorry, yes, I was looking in the wrong place. The last two namespace URIs are indeed hyperlinks in Chrome on my PC. They are hyperlinked in the ODT, so that is the source of the error. I note that there is one hyperlinked namespace URI on the cover sheet in Part 2:
http://docs.oasis-open.org/ns/office/1.2/meta/pkg # If the hyperlinks are removed in the ODT files, this should resolve the problem. Kind regards, Francis From: Patrick Durusau <

So possibly a browser issue? This is what the cell in Table 2, row 2, col 3 contains: <td style="text-align:left;width:6.854cm; " class="Table15_C2"> <p class="Text_20_body">
http://docs.oasis-open.org/ns/office/1.2/meta/odf# </p> </td> So there s no hyperlink there. Kind regards, Francis From:

Francis, I don't know that we are required to prevent their interpretation as hyperlinks but we should not be writing them as hyperlinks, yes? I wonder, ..., I have created a test file, attached, that show when written as plain text, a hyperlink remains just text. Tested only with Mozilla and Chrome on Debian. Hope you are having a great day! Patrick On 8/27/20 9:54 AM, Francis Cave wrote: Hi Patrick and all! This exact issue has recently come up in preparing a revision of Part 2 of OOXML. In the PDF version (we re not currently producing an HTML version) all URIs are interpreted as hyperlinks, even if they are namespaces or other forms of identifier. The answer is surely that they should not be hyperlinks, but ensuring that they aren t interpreted as hyperlinks when the ODT, PDF or HTML versions are opened in an arbitrary document reader may be challenging.
