EM Reference Information Model SC

1.       Short illustration of an issue I found with serialization of lists
2.       Namespace issues with re-usable / common types across EDXL
3.       Finish DE Conformance discussion
4.       Back to the ciq work
Hopefully we can stay on task to complete items 1-3 at a minimum.  I really would like to get back to completing number 4 as it is starting to hold up the initiation of final testing and public release of my HAVE and RM libraries.  Also there is reliance from the SitRep work on it as well.
If anyone has thoughts/additions feel free to add them!

I don't have any thoughts on this. It's ambitious, and I'm not sure 
we'll actually finish the DE Conformance discussion, but it's certainly 
worth a try. I do have an addition. I was planning to let the group know 
that we will want to add Temporal Information to Contact Information and 
Location Information as an information category which occurs across EDXL 
and needs to have its own guidelines if not an outright encapsulation 
along the lines of the OASIS Where Profile of the OGC GML and our EDXL 
Profile of CIQ.

Good thought. I'm not sure how we can integrate that into the profiles though. Wouldn't that be adding elements?

I don't know. I don't have any preconceptions about it. The only place I 
have seen temporal elements abstracted into their own category is in the 
DoDAF Metamodel 2.0, and I don't think I want to follow that model 
exactly. So I'm just suggesting we acknowledge it and table it for after 
we finish CIQ. I wasn't expecting to make a decision on it today. This 
follows the general parliamentary procedure of having a topic 
introduction, putting it on the agenda for the future and having 
research ACTION items then having "readings" of recommendations by those 
who do the research. We don't follow that model all that closely, but 
it's sorta what I fall back on.
