hi -   I've attached an updated diagram for our KMIP interop call today. I've included Cryptsoft and High Density Devices in this version -- my apologies for omitting them in the previous one!   regards, Bob     From: Griffin, Robert Sent: Tuesday, February 01, 2011 1:18 PM To: Griffin, Robert; 'Mathias Bjoerkqvist1'; 'kmip-interop-tech@lists.oasis-open.org' Cc: 'Bruce Rich'; 'Gordon Arnold'; 'John Peck'; 'Clark, John (Atalla)'; 'Feather, Stan S'; Pillai, Sanal; 'trinath.somanchi@freescale.com'; Krishnappa, Bharath; 'Jon.Geater@thales-esecurity.com'; 'Adnan Visic' Subject: RE: RSA server   hi -   I've attached an update of the topology diagram for the KMIP interop presentation. A couple of points:   - I've included separate server hardware for Emulex and Safenet, as well as the client machines for those companies and the combined client/server for RSA. If anyone else is bringing a combined client/server, please let me know.   - I've removed the bilateral connections in the earlier diagram and showed the systems all connecting via an "interop network". Let me know if this is ok?   If I've forgotten any participants, please let me know and send me a logo.   thanks! Client tests seem to be working ok, at least against the HP server (all I've been able to do so far) . If folks who have clients could try against our server (use case 3_1_1 through 7_2), I'd appreciate it.   IP is 192.168.1.111, port 9000.   thanks! Bob   interop_diag 3feb11.ppt

I've included Cryptsoft and High Density Devices in this version -- my apologies for omitting them in the previous one! As I've got to add that diagram into the slide deck when updating the use case section, I've taken the diagram produced by Bob and made a few changes: - all servers lined up at the top - all clients lined up at the bottom - all vendors specified in alphabetical order (matches the OASIS press release) - vendor logos sized to fit the diagram It's getting challenging to fit everything into a single slide. For those vendors who have actual shipping product it might make sense to indicate that in the slides - i.e. the Emulex and HDD products being demonstrated really are not things which look like laptops. I don't know which vendors are bringing along their physical server products or remotely using existing server configurations but showing that level of diversity may be a good approach. I've updated the KMIP presentation from Bob to include all the use cases. Changes are: - increased font size in a few places for links - added "Scenarios from Vendor Products" in slide 40 - added diagram for vendor clients and servers (from yesterday's email) - added full list of use cases in slides 42 and 43 - added the remaining use cases mostly using the test from the use case document - added the post-1.0 use cases (i.e. 13.1-13.4) Note: I have not put in the animated message sequences that exist for the previous use cases I think it would make sense to include a brief description of the vendor use cases which are not in the use case document in the same style as the rest of the newly added use cases. The presentation is now 92 slides (up from the previous 62 slides) and it makes sense IMHO to split this into two presentations. Tim. KMIP_presentation-6-feb-11.ppt
