Please see the docs attached to liaison statement from ITU-T SG 17, in which they convey their progress on updating their approved version of CAP to X.1303bis, reflecting among other things a modified approach to the ASN.1 appendix. At the next CAP SC meeting on March 17, we plan to discuss the ITU modifications (see the zip file attached to their statement, at
https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/emergency/email/archives/201403/msg00002.html ) to evaluate the conformance of their modifications to the current CAP standard.
