  • 1.  Indications of Candidacy for TC Chair(s)

    Posted 08-30-2010 14:57

To all prospective members of the PMRM TC:

The first order of business at the inaugural TC meeting will be to elect a chair (or two co-chairs). All individuals interested in serving as a Chair, or in nominating another individual for the position of Chair, are welcome to make that candidacy known, prior to the meeting, by posting a note to the TC's e-mail list expressing their interest and/or intent along with a brief statement of their qualifications. However, this is not required, and the committee will be open to nominations from any qualified persons at its first meeting as well.

    Regards,

    Mary

I would like to nominate Michael Willett and John Sabo as co-chairs of
PMRM. Without the two of them working together PMRM TC would
not have been formed.  I have seen how both of them work together doing this and feel they should be our first set of leaders.

    Bill –

Thank you for your kind comments and your nomination of John and me as co-chairs.

I accept the nomination. John had already accepted a previous nomination.

As you suggest, John and I and others in the ISTPA have put a lot

of ‘sweat equity’ into the PMRM. We have daydreamed for some time

now of turning the PMRM over to a real standards body, for further evolution

    and experimentation.

    OASIS is an excellent choice.

We all look forward to 8 Sept and beyond.

    Michael Willett
