Dear SC members, First of all I would like to remind you on tomorrows call . My main agenda point is how we could stimulate this working group and what are possible next steps. I am without doubt that our direction to define document changes is correct: Instead of specifying only the file formats, which mostly sufficient when documents were exchanged via floppy discs or attached to mails, only the upcoming definition of document changes and their position allow the interoperable exchange of minimal collaboration information. Making any differentiation algorithms on documents to figure out the previous changes needless. Allowing the merge changes from different users without involvement of the document possible. I am aware of the office vendor's problem of adding a new design to applications, which were designed decades. But there might be subtle ways, like adding operations to the export filters.
