Over the last many months, we have strived to reach feature maturity of OData v4. While Committee Specification Draft 01 (CSD01) got us closer, we have a better shot at reaching that point of feature maturity with CSD02 (planned for approval on or before June 20 th ). In our journey towards reaching there and ensuring we stick to the timeline, here are some of the key things we need to accomplish next week during the 5 th face-to-face meeting: ·          Process (resolve or defer, close) all remaining issues ·          Raise bar for accepting issues to class B (something is broken) or class A (editorial) issues only; see timeline [1] for issue classification   And in preparation for the face-to-face meeting next week, please review the latest drafts of the various OData v4 specification documents, and identify any remaining corrections you like to see addressed prior to CSD02!   [1] Timeline: https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/48148/TC%20Timeline%203.htm   From: Ram Jeyaraman (MS OPEN TECH) Sent: Monday, June 3, 2013 11:51 AM To: odata@lists.oasis-open.org Cc: Barbara Hartel (SAP) (barbara.hartel@sap.com); 'stefan@drees.name' Subject: Timeframe for moving Applied issues to Closed state   As you may have already observed, there are nearly 50 issues (and counting) in Applied state. These are issues whose approved resolutions have been applied by the editors and need to be reviewed and approved by the TC. As we discussed during last Thursday’s TC meeting, the TC members are requested to review the latest working drafts (to verify the application of those issue resolutions) leading up to the face-to-face meeting during June 13-14, 2013. At the face-to-face meeting, we want to be able to move those issue to Closed state in our grander journey towards approving Committee Specification Draft 02 (on or before June 20 th ).
