I'm very excited to announce the third UBL International conference,
this time being held in Rome, Italy the week of April 21-24,
2008. The conference is hosted by and endorsed by the Consiglio
Nazionale dell'Economia e del Lavoro
and by the Italian Organization for Standardization, and we thank
them for their generous support.
UBL International is a one-day free symposium, this year held in
conjunction with OASIS Open on April 21, 2008, followed by three days
of commercial training sessions April 22-24, 2008. All information
can be found linked from here:
http://www.ublconference.com/
We are looking for:
(1) - sponsors to pay for seats for attendees in return for booth/table space,
(2) - UBL-related presentations for the symposium April 21, 2008, and
(3) - training organizations to offer UBL-related courses April 22-24, 2008.
Two calls for proposals have been issued, one for symposium
presentations and one for training offerings. The deadline for
proposals is March 22, 2008 and the notification of acceptance will
be sent by March 29, 2008.
The attendance at the symposium is free of charge, but is limited to
the number of seats supported by sponsors. Registrations for the
symposium are now being accepted, but they will only be approved once
sponsors have been found to pay for seats.
Many thanks to Document Engineering Services
http://www.DocumentEngineeringServices.com for being the first
sponsor of this event! If you have an interest in sponsoring the
conference, there are a limited number of sponsoring slots based on a
limited amount of booth and table space.
The attendance at the commercial training sessions is not free of
charge, and students must contact the training organizations directly
for payment and registration.
The http://www.expectnation.com event software is being used for
conference management, presentation submissions and symposium registrations.
Please let me know (off list) if you have any questions.
