Greetings
Here folks is an XSLT 2.0 stylesheet (in directory
'xslt')
which transforms a simplified set of global-style
xsd
module schemas into a simplified set of
local-style
schemas which validate the same instances as
the
global ones (minimal difference in
schemaLocation).
To try the stylesheet just open it in XML Spy
2005
(e.g. Home Edition which is free) and point
the
'XSL' transform button at one of the schemas in
the
'MajorGlobal' directory. It should then overwrite
the
schemas in the 'MajorLocalAll' directory with
the
newly output schemas. (Ignore the
messages)
These are the major version schema sets. The
minor
version will be more of a challenge and I've yet to
try
it out.
Of course this is just a demo and neither robust
nor
particularly generic.
