I’m pleased to nominate Brian Raymor for co-chair of the MQTT Technical Committee. During the last year, Brian’s been active in contributing to the MQTT re-charter process including hosting one of the face-to-face working sessions, editing the new charter, and collaborating with the Microsoft representative on the Board of Directors to improve the OASIS process. Brian has over 30 years of broad industry experience at companies such as Sun Microsystems, NeXT Software, and Microsoft. As a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft, Brian is focused on open standards and interoperability initiatives at several industry consortia and standards organizations, including the W3C, IETF, OASIS, and OMA. Previously, he led the Microsoft engagements for WebSockets and HTTP/2. Currently, he is an editor in both the WebPush and Constrained RESTful Environments (CoRE) working groups at the IETF. With best regards, Ed Briggs
