    Today we discussed the meaning of metric. EMS defines the class ems:Metric is the same way as the normal natural language usage of the term.     Thx for this document. It does not define the term "metric". The only occurrence of "metric" is in a reference to "IEEE Std. 1061-1998, IEEE Standard for a Software Quality Metrics Methodology".
