    I believe we used @data-class but with some HDITA spin to make it lighter weight: including only the semantic element name not the specialization wrapper (so data-class= note instead of topic/note) and only including a value when it carried semantic freight (no data-class on p, li, etc) I see the syntax showing up in examples in the spec but not documented.
