David, The syntax and structure of XLIFF/JLIFF is definitely different, but I suggest to keep the semantic content between them one-to-one. IMHO if we decide to use different values as the semantic content for JLIFF then this could lead to potential machine translation errors. The design of JLIFF should follow the POLS (the principle of least surprise or astonishment). Let’s talk about this 27th.
