OpenC2 Technical Committee, This email provides a status of the resolution of comments to the HTTPS Transfer Specification Stateless Packet Filtering Profile and provide an estimated delivery of a draft that can be considered for a second public review. This responds to an action assigned by the Technical Committee to the editor of the HTTPS Spec on January 11, 2019. BACKGROUND: The implementation considerations subcommittee identified 29 distinct issues to the Specification for Transfer of OpenC2 Messages via HTTPS and 27 GitHub pull requests have been generated. Based on the deliberations at the January Face-to-Face and at subcommittee level, we have achieved general consensus on the following: * Accepted 12 Pull Requests and close the corresponding issues * Rejected 1 Pull Request and closed the corresponding issue * Two comments have withdrawn by the originator WAY FORWARD There are 8 substantive issues and 8 minor issues still not implemented. The editor believes that we have SC consensus on approving those requests, which will be confirmed at the 6 February IC-SC meeting. All open issues have associated pull requests, and the editor has notified the SC that the substantive issues are the agenda for the upcoming meeting. There are very minor dependencies on resolution of Language Specification issues, but the editor doesn't anticipate these will delay finalizing the next version of the HTTPS Specification. It is reasonable to expect delivery of the next CSDPR candidate for HTTPS Transfer Specification prior to the February 20 TC Monthly. We have medium-high confidence in this assessment.
