TC Members, Today’s working meeting approved the switch to a new mechanism for maintaining the website FAQs. Here’s what’s changed: 1. Each FAQ is now in an individual markdown file in the website repository; see:
https://github.com/OpenC2-org/openc2-org.github.io/tree/main/_faqs 2. The FAQ page of the website is built from the individual files; the FAQs are presented in the order of filenames (i.e., faq_100.md, then faq_110.md, ...). The automation page is here:
https://github.com/OpenC2-org/openc2-org.github.io/blob/main/faqs.html 3. Based on changes 1 & 2, FAQs can now easily be added (create a new FAQ file), removed (delete an FAQ file), and updated (edit an FAQ file). They can also be reordered by renaming the FAQ files. 4. The FAQ-Master.md file that had been created in the TC-Ops repository to ease FAQ editing has been deleted so that there’s no need for parallel maintenance of the FAQ contents. I will be exploring the possibility of updating the OpenC2 In The News page to work in a similar manner.
