Subject: RE: Nonresponsiveness of ODRxml TC

    John,

Co-chair, Jim Keane and I discussed the TC with Jamie Clark prior to Jim’s departure. We are looking at our options.  There are people that want to “stay informed” but not a lot of interest beyond that. We discussed whether or not we should fold the committee into another, hold the meeting and see what the level of participation is, or pull the plug.  Before we made a decision, Jamie was to get back to us with his thoughts after some internal meetings with Oasis.

I am prepared to go forward with a meeting if we decide that is worthwhile. I am speaking on a panel at the conference on Monday.

Any suggestions you have would be appreciated.

    Regards,

Debi – I am sending this message to you rather than to Jim.  I am unwilling to distract him from his treatment for this sort of administrative issue.

This is the second time in as many requests in which we have not received a quarterly activity report from your TC.  The Member Section quarterly report notes your non responsiveness.

Are you prepared to provide temporary leadership for the TC until Jim is able to pick up the ball again? You have a face to face meeting in in December to plan and conduct.  Do you need help from the Member Section?  If so, what sort of help?

Thanks for giving thought to these issues.
