I agree with Roger!
I think a
nicely printed certificate is far better than what would essentially be an
email attachment - and what if the recipient doesn't have a color printer to
use and would like to capture the humor and uniqueness of this certificate
compared with others they've received.
My
2-cents.

Appreciation Certificates
Perhaps
we could offer to furnish a printed certificate if a recipient
would like us to. Otherwise, an
interested recipient could print one
himself/herself.
Does
anyone have a strong feeling one way or the other?

Do you
then not need me to make a hard copy printout of the
certificates? Instead you'll
present them at some occasion
electronically? (I personally don't
expect to be attending any
occasions prior to E-Courts in
December, if that.)

Appreciation Certificates
Dear all:
Since the
certificates each indicates they it bears my signature, I
thought it might be appropriate to
sign them using a combination of the
application-specific and
proxy-signature profiles of EFC 3.0. I
converted them first to PDF and
then uploaded them for signing to the
Law-on-Line server, which signed
them by proxy based upon its
authentication of me. They are
attached.
If the SC
feels they are suitable, I thought we might present them to
the recipients at a suitable time.
Best
regards.

Committee: Attached, in Word format, are three Certificates
of Appreciation which John Greacen drafted, Christoph Hoashi-Erhardt of MTG
retagged (better to resemble GJXDM), and I formatted on a background I thought
appropriately technical-looking. John asked me to show them to the Steering
Committee before sending them off. I will be converting them to graphic files,
printing them on good photo paper, and mailing them to the recipients. We hope
you find these to be suitable for thanking Dallas, John, and Robin. Please do,
however, let me know if you feel we should do this differently or if you find
errors. Thank you!
