Subject: RE: [legalxml-sc] ROP amendment regarding IP policy
I concur. Further, the one negative vote would violate our concept of consensus.
I would ask the person with the negative vote to bring forward the basis on the list so that we can have constructive discussion.
We may want to think about a special meeting since an hour may not be enough time.
Regards,
Don

I do not view the affirmative vote of 5 of the 10 Steering Committee members to constitute a majority of the Steering Committee. The matter not having achieved a majority vote must be deemed to have failed to win approval. Consequently, I will not submit the proposed amendment to Patrick for consideration by the OASIS Board. We will address the matter again during our next Steering Committee conference call.
