John Messing, Debi Miller-Moore and I
participated in the conference call, which served to bring Debi up to speed on
the meeting’s results.
Jamie was held up by a security lockdown in LAX for three
and a half hours. He and I got together in Las Vegas before both
of us had to fly out. He updated me on several matters of concern to the
Member Section:
OASIS will approve a new membership/dues structure that will
allow nonprofits to join for one member for $250, two members for $500. Individual
members will have to convert their memberships into organizational memberships
under this new structure. I told Jamie I thought this would meet our needs.
We did not discuss our request to have our TCs put
automatically into the correct IP status, without the need for each of our TCs
to vote to continue to do what we are already doing.
Charter changes do not require OASIS Board approval. They
do need to be approved by the TC Administrator. Jamie will continue to
pursue our desire that tasks and deadlines not appear in the charter but in
another visible place on the webpage.
Jamie acknowledged problems with the document part of
KAVI. He will call Robin early next week to go over with her the work
arounds he has devised to make the current product serviceable.
Jamie – What have I missed?
