FW: Veronique and Grant contract

    Scott, Dee, Cathie: Please see below. The Steering Committee included this in our budget planning for this year (approved March 25) and we noted that the documentation was coming along well in our status update on July 15). On September 29, during the financial status part of the meeting, we checked on when to expect invoices. Monica indicated that the LegalDocML TC was waiting for the final version of the documentation before approving the two invoices for Grant and Veronique. Apparently we missed the step to approve their contracts. Can we approve via email so that the contracts may be retroactive for the work that was done? Please advise. Thanks, Laurel

    Hi Laurel, ?I am slightly confused.  Do you have the contracts signed by Grant & Veronique that need to be countersigned by Laurent?  Or do I need to prepare another contract with information from the StC for a description of services to be performed?   The last contracts I have on file are from 2014.  Thanks Cathie ? ?     Hi Cathie –the documents I forwarded from Monica are the ones that would need to be countersigned, for work done in 2015. Since we’re nearly out of 2015, we’re
    not sure about the legality/appropriateness of this. Grant and Veronique did the work, per the contracts but now that we’re ready to approve the invoices, it seems we missed the crucial step of getting the contracts signed.

    Hi Laurel, Sorry I assumed they were the invoices but now see they are the Deliverables. I suggest we add them as an additional set of Deliverables under the the existing contract from 2014, following the same terms and conditions.
