    Hi guys!
    I want to join the german docbook mailinglist
    http://placebo.hpi.uni-potsdam.de/mailman/listinfo/docbook. But my
    browser could not find that page? does somebody knows why?

    I'm not aware of any *active* German DocBook Mailinglist
    (though I know there is an entry in the Docbook Wiki -
    http://wiki.docbook.org/topic/DocBookDiscussion).

    I suggest it haven't been maintained for a long time and therefore have been closed some time ago.

    P.S. Next time try to make some investigations before post such requests to this mailing list.

    Here is a sample steps of mine (it has taken about 3 minutes only):

    1. http://placebo.hpi.uni-potsdam.de/mailman/listinfo/docbook - 404
    2. http://placebo.hpi.uni-potsdam.de/mailman/ - 404
    3. http://placebo.hpi.uni-potsdam.de/ - redirection to https://myhpi.de/fsr/
    4. https://myhpi.de/fsr/ - closed area. No visible "docbook" results
    5. Searching for "german docbook mailing list" http://www.google.de/search?hl=ru&source=hp&q=german+docbook+mailing+list&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq= - first page leads to Dave Pawson page: http://www.dpawson.co.uk/docbook/reference.html

    8. Trying to search for "docbook@placebo.hpi.uni-potsdam.de" : total results - 16.
