Landscape pages within Portrait pagesYes, it is possible to mix page-sequences that have landscape and portrait orientation in the same book. But I suspect you are looking for individual elements such as table or figure within a chapter to be landscape, not the whole chapter page-sequence. If so, then check out these two references:
