  • 1.  Alternative syntax highlighter

    Hi all,

    DocBook-XSL comes with support for syntax highlighting using the XSLTHL
    package. I recently discovered an interesting alternative that uses the
    Pygments syntax highlighter.

    I haven't had time to look very closely at this, but the full story is here:

    It would be interisting to take this further and try to call it using
    Jython directly from Saxon ;-)

    Also, for HTML syntax highlighting can be done on client using
    Javascript library like Jush (http://jush.sourceforge.net/).
