    If the system IDs point to the XML IDs, then you don't need to add the
    "wrong" public ID to the docbook-xml catalog. Following the
    specification [1] system IDs are preferred over public IDs if both
    exist. So the tools should automatically choose the XML DTDs for e.g.
    validation.

    Answer sent to docbook-apps. I don't think, the docbook list is the
    appropriate place for such issues.
