Without re-inventing the wheel here; Responders Knowledge Base (http://www.rkb.us/) is the premier, one stop shopping mall for any and all products utilized within incident management/emergency operations.  Our rkb.us link is:   https://www.rkb.us/contentdetail.cfm?content_id=227516  Meaning we are CAP/API deployment (market) ready... EU or USA.  No surprise, the challenge is funding and implementing (from the tech lab to end users reality).

In terms of public-private collaboration, there's only 3 questions remaining: 1)  What is the technology backbone that will be utilized (adhering NIMS standards and criteria for interoperability, scalability, flexibility, and affordability across the board) that will allow the public/private to coexist?  A:  NIMS STEP evaluated TractorFax.  2)  Funding and 3) Implementation...

    Hope you find this helpful.

Hi, I really did not meant to reinvent the wheel. Sure, rkb.us is a good
source of information... For the US reality. In Europe there are ongoing
activities, services, products and a lot of research. My original email was
just informational about activities going on in Italy and in Europe.

I was interested in getting some more info on http://www.tractorfaxtech.com but
looks like the website is down...

    Best Regards,
