Subject: Re: HAVE Bed schema review

    Hi Tom,

I believe we have already done that, including recruiting Sukumar to
lead the effort to drive it in a task group within the EM-Msg SC.
Unless you are suggesting we adopt it as is, we should be able to
move it through the SC in a relatively short time, but we do have due
diligence to do, and Sukumar is out of the country till mid March I
believe. However, Tim Grapes and I have volunteered to do what we
can in the meantime, which means to review it. However, I do need to
give you a heads up that it is now necessary to put it into the OASIS
template and get it into the required formats, .doc, .pdf and .html,
for the first public review, which is 60-days. I have suggested that
we spend at least half of the SC's meeting time every other meeting
(during the meeting that is held from 12:00 p.m. EST to 1:00 p.m.
    EST) on this work.

I will be on the road myself next week, from Tuesday to Friday, at
the Fourth Medical Banking Institute in Nashville, Tennessee, leading
a workgroup of the Medical Banking Project, so I can't do much next
week. We still don't have a volunteer to co-chair, so the first time
I can chair a meeting is the week of Feb. 27 to Mar. 3. That happens
to be an off-week, but I would be willing to chair a special, one
time only meeting to review HAvBED, or HAVE, whichever is the correct
name--at least one issue I can cite offhand.

Further, it looks like we will be moving the evening meeting to 5:00
p.m. EST on Thursdays, which would make the next one of those
meetings March 9, in order to get synched up with the TC meeting, and
make it so that we only need to be mindful of EM meetings two weeks a
month as opposed to three, which is what would happen if get out of
    synch with the evening meeting.

Personally, even with a calendar and pda and being as religious as it
is possible for me to be with checking those synched calendars, I am
still getting to meetings late. In fact I was 15 min. late this week
for the evening meeting, which was out of synch with the normal TC
meeting, though we had the special voting meeting the same day. So it
is probably vital for me to arrange it so that EM stuff is only two
weeks a month or the prospect for me to get back to being reasonably
consistent about making meetings on time will fade.... I do the best
I can, but we really do need a co-chair.

    Ciao,
    Rex
