I would agree with that.

Can you some more details on where it is deployed and the tools? I admit
RSS is new to me, and while I have found some things on the Web in its
regard, and I specifically interested in looking into it more and
seeing/trying to determine what % of our potential implementors would be
using it (Rick if I am stepping into your area with these questions,
then please let me know and I will gracefully back up).

I don't think anyone is suggesting "an alternative way", but rather
"another way". There is no reason why we, as a TC, can't provide
guidance to implementors on how to use CAP in an RSS or Web Services
situation (or several others for that matter).
