Subject: Updated strawman proposal for DITA specification chunks

Per discussion last time, dividing it up into three discrete
    specifications:

    1. DITA overview
          introduction to DITA

    2. DITA markup
          DITA topic specification
                DTD
                schema
                language reference
including markup for base information types and domains
          DITA map specification
                DTD
                schema
                language reference for maps
including markup for any map specializations
          DITA metadata specification
shared metadata model for both topics and maps

    3. DITA specialization
content specification (the specification that specialized content
    conforms to)
                class attribute and domains attribute
                generalization
                precedence rules
design (the specification that modularized specialization design
modules and integrating document types conform to)
                modularization and integration, naming schemes
                rules for DTDs
                rules for schemas
processing (the specification that modularized processing modules and
    integrating processing shells conform to)
                modularization and integration, naming schemes
                rules for XSL
                rules for CSS
