Hi Chris & members of the CTI TC, I noticed the many leave requests coming in today and I understand the awkward situation you are all in. I also exchanged emails on this with your chairs. Unfortunately, per the OASIS TC Process rules, these leave requests come too late and I must find them invalid. The policy on leaves can be found in
https://www.oasis-open.org/policies-guidelines/tc-process-2017-05-26#leavesAbsence and reads: "Every Voting Member of an OASIS TC may request a Leave of Absence. A Leave of Absence shall not exceed 45 days. Each request shall be made by sending an email to the TC mailing list at least 7 days before the Leave is to start . The Leave must be approved by the TC . During a Leave of Absence, a Voting Member shall not have voting rights or participation obligations in the TC or its Subcommittees.
